Hi Chad! The whole of Y5 have been fascinated by the sights you have seen. South Island to North Island. Hi Chad and Penny, so sorry you had a rough crossing from Picton, I got sunburnt on my trip, glad you loved the museum and botanical gardens, It brought lots of memories back, must bore you later with my photos! Glad you have enjoyed Wellington,a wonderful city!glad you went round the parliament a great trip! Still raining and flooding here and WBA are now in the relegation zone! Tony!
Well what can I say it all sound fabulous JR wants to know if you need a bag carrier . We will all need boats if the rain does not stop soon , you will be pleased to know the army has turned out armed with sand bags to protect London . Luv Linda & JR x x
Wow, you're certainly covering some miles in that car. Are you sharing the driving? Glad you're getting to grips with the Kiwi lingo. It takes a while for you ear to adjust doesn't it?
We are loving following you around and reliving parts of our own trip.
Be prepared for the smell in Rotorua. The whole town smells like bad eggs from the sulphur. If you've time try and go for a private hot dip at the spa. It's magic. You have a private hot pool open to the lake at the front and just lie there and soak up the heat. It was fabulous after all the driving!
Keep it coming...we\'re lapping it up!!
Xxx
Fab photos, Loved the photos and account of Fox Glacier........and now you're on to 'something completely different'. What an amazing variety of landscapes you are seeing! XX
Mount Cook The photos are amazing! The views from the helicopter look incredible! Poppy says that she thinks Grandad is cheeky and Nanny hasn't got a big bottom!! She's wagging her finger at you Grandad!!
Padding !!!! Chad is Penny still talking to you after the padding remark !! Photos are awesome from the chopper. How many miles have you covered so far...is the driving easy ? Looking forward to our afternoon tea when you get back Penny where Ill be bombarding you with questions about your trip !!!
Wow!! We're loving the pictures, particularly the latest batch with you deep in snow with the helicopter in the background. A combination of Vegas and the Columbian ice field, it brought back such good memories. Whilst on the subject of deja vu our darling daughters were out on the town last night until 3am this morning. By all accounts they had a good night but are a little fragile today - there's a surprise and us thinking they had grown up!! Spoke to Joan today, they are both fine but missing you and counting the days 'til you're back; we had a lovely chat. Mr Glum is building himself up for the match this afternoon, methinks the red wine may take a battering tonight if they don't get a result!! Take care and enjoy every day xx
All I can say is your holiday is looking more appealing to me (never thought i would be saying it ) the photo,s and wonderfully story telling (not sure that sounded right ) but you know what I am trying to say . Any way keep the blog coming and most of all keep enjoying every minute . Love Linda x x
More Happy Holidays What a mixture of landscapes, from beaches to snowy peaks, was it the wine the night before or the fit pilot that made Penny fall, enjoy

We're still being blown to pieces and rained upon here in the UK! I'm not sure how much more we can take, you are definitely in the best part of the world! Tony.

We got the train from Auckland to Wellington and they kept telling us it had a viewing dick at the rear of the train. Kept US amused anyway!!
