hey guys, made it to split croatia finally! it was a hellish 17 hour travel switching trains 3 times...one was an over night train which looked like it was there to transport chickens with no a-c and 6 beds to a tiny room. we kept asking what train car was ours and they kept sending us back and back and back until we came to the good old caboose with old yugoslavian men hanging out the open windows smoking cigarettes and probably talking about how they;re going to steal out organs once we fall asleep! it was the worst thing ever! oh what up people ok so ur lucky me and alan have a lot of time to kill today before we take the train to split croatia... so here it goes. hey mates, we spent our last day in switz :( with cheese and as of our return from interlaken we went to the blue balls music festival in luzern. it was really crowded with people, not so much music, but very popular with the locals. i talked a street vendor down from 80 franks to 30 franks for a wooden mask but then decided i didnt have anywhere to pack it so i opted not to get it. cheese made us a great dinner our last night there consisting of pork spare ribs, macaroni salad, and 2 types of sausage. it [View Full Entry]

Hello people in america, hope all is well in the states. The past two days have been busy for us. On thursday cheese took us to this really huge and beautiful mountain named Rigi in the town of Wiggi to go hiking. This moutain stands at about 6000 ft up and it is such a massive standding mountain, we have come to find out that all moutains are like that here. we finally made it to switz and stayed up for 30 hours straight with a little nap here and there on the plane. pj says its light out so we cant sleep and phillip(our host/friend) says its better to stay up and go to sleep on normal switz hours so we can get adjusted easier. i finally talked them into taking a nap after the 30 hour mark, so we slept for 3 hours finally. we arrived in switz about 8am and drove 1 hour out of zurich to phillips(aka swiss cheeses) house. switz is a very green mountainous country with [View Full Entry]
