Alan on Rigi
looking at the alps Hello people in america, hope all is well in the states. The past two days have been busy for us. On thursday cheese took us to this really huge and beautiful mountain named Rigi in the town of Wiggi to go hiking. This moutain stands at about 6000 ft up and it is such a massive standding mountain, we have come to find out that all moutains are like that here. Well we started our day off by driving about an hour to the town where we parked and took a gondola half way up this beats of a mountain. The gondola ride was short and the scenery looking out the windows was amazing. We got off the gondola and came to findout that there is alot going on along the hiking path up to the top. Along our hour hike we saw at least 4 hotels and many houses scatteered around this hiking path. We could have just took a tram to the top but that would have taken the fun out of the whole experience. We all started off fine going up the mountain on this hike, though it was steap the whole time. It was a very strange
hike because every 20 mins or so we would come across a restraunt or little hut with people sitting and driking beer, so of course right when we got to the top alan and cheese got a victory beer. I decided not to partake because i was busy trying to get oxygen into mz lungs and beer just didnt seem to me the answere for that problem. Anyways when we got to the top we could see an entire 360 view of the valley, cheese was saying that we could even kind of see the border of Germany. The valley is filled with these massive lakes surrounding huge mountains, and then off in the distance we could see huge snow overed peaks that were very impressive. Lucky we brought a lunch to the top too, cause we were hungry after that straight up hike, and so we ate it and took pictures and videos of the surrounding area. The hike down was quick and easy and only took us about 40 min. We got back to cheeses house and alan and i decided we were going to make dinner for the family. Of course we went with some good mexi
cali style of cooking and made some really good Fajitas with chicken and beef that were bomb. Cheeses mom and dad loved it they were grubbin hard lol. After that we were going to take a nap and wake up and go out but that didnt happen we just slept till the next morn, i think the jet lag is still getting at us alittle but whateves. So we woke up yesterday and had the leftovers from the night and it was a great start up breakfast before we headed on the road towad Interlaken. On the way to interlaken we stopped at the train station to try and get our Euro rail passes. Of course when we got there and waited in line for like 30 min we got to the front and was talking to the teller and alan realized he had forgotten his passport so we decided to get it later lol. The dirve up through the mountains was insane it was like driving through a picture, the water in the lakes are so clear and the mountains are so green. Me and alan were joking around talking about how the lakes are probably fake and thits
just painted on and there is no water lol. But we were wrong . It is amazing to us that with so much clean and smothe water that there were not alot of wake boarders or skiiers out on the lake, like occurs in the states. But anyways we got to interlaken and found our hostel, which i booked and some how navigated us through the city to find it, no big deal. The hostel was freakin so nice, we were surprised that it actualy looked like a nice hotel. It was sweet it had a pool with a bar next too it and a big sand volleyball court which had a bar next to it, i felt like we were in mexico with these kind of luxerys lol. We couldnt go to our rooms till 4 so we decided to go into town and walk around and eat. And of course being americans we decided to go eat at hooters and grab some beer and food lol. We got back to the hotel and put on our boardshorts and hit the pool. The pool was great, mainley because there were americans there that we could talkt to and hear
the english language for a change. We met a bunch of cool people and drank in the pool and hungout with them. We entered a beach volleyball 4 on 4 turni at night with a guy we met that lives in the pacific palisades so we had a pretty solid crew repin so cal lol.
Sweet lake
lake i thought was painted on adventerous things today but we woke up to it raining and all cloudy out so we decided to just come back to cheeses house.
Some side notes that alan and i have realized is that me and him slowly keep getting an accent that is starting to sound like a switz person trying to speak english, i guess tahts what you get when we hangout in switzerland right. Another funny note is that alan keeps trzing to speak spanish to the people accidently and then correcting himself forgetting that the switz dont speak spanish lol
Alright peeps hope all is well we head to the blue balls festival tonight, which is like a bunch of concerts and one big party, and then tomorrow we are off to Roma Italy which is ganna suck cause its a 9 hour train ride. Anyways well talk to you when we can have a good one.
