Saga continues... We've been in London for a few days now and already have been having some great times and adventures. The boys and I walked from the Bank of England down London bridge along the river and across Tower Bridge. Got to see a lot of great sites and the architecture is absolutely gorgeous. So after tea time and a bit of sight seeing along the river we went home to bargain for cheap dinners along brick lane. Now I don't know how to compare this to anything in America but we simply just walked along the street where there were about 10 or so curry spots. Each one of them had a representative outside who would try and top their competitors deal and we would listen to them and bargain and take the one ... read more

December 28th, Arrived into London about an our late, seeing as how we left about 90minutes late not to bad. The flight was decent actually flew by rather quick. Because of the idiotic terrorist acts on Christmas day America made a rule where playing flying over Europe can't use their multimedia systems until they leave US territory. Flying from LA thats pretty much half the flight. So we were unable to watch any of the 60 movies virgin atlantic had on their entertainment system. But as soon as we entered Canadian territory around Newfoundland we were in business. Watched The Goods with Jeremy Piven, the movie was actually mad funny. Then I felt like getting real ethnic so I watched a Bollywood movie called Kambakkht Ishq, actually not a bad movie. Got cheesy at times as ... read more

January 17th 2009

January 17th Moving into the Residents hall was pretty cool, my cousin had called the taxi in to take me from Keningotn to Kensington. I felt compelled to act British to convince the cab driver that I was local so he wouldn't try and rip me off and it actually worked! I felt good to know that I could be convincing when need be. I met a lot of cool new people here and the chance to form long lasting friendships that I could cherish for a while. The food here is okay pretty much what I expected. I can bounce a quarter 2ft with a drop on the iron board firm mattress but like most things you get use to it. We ventured around Kensington and West and Central London and were able to check ... read more

January 15th 2009

January 15th I have been in London for about five days now. The flight here from Fresno wasn't as long as I expected most likely the result of anxiety and benedryl to put me to sleep. I got lucky at the airport since the American Airlines attendant didn't really bother that my bags were heavy and over their limit. I arrived into Dallas fairly early and got some good ol' chinese food before I left for London. The 9hr flight to Heathrow was pretty good being that no one sat next to me giving me a good bit of extra space to but my backpack and food that I broguht on the plane. We were about to land a full hour early but London as well as most of Europe was experiencing an extreme cold spell ... read more
