Didn't sleep so well at night. My first encounter with jetlag! After breakfast I went for a wander around Bangkok, or at least the area near where I'm staying, close to the Khao San Road. The area reminds me a bit of Camden, in London. Not really my favourite part of London! Bangkok was humid, hot, smelly, dirty, busy and polluted. Many stalls lined the streets all selling either cheap tacky souvenirs, fake t-shirts, jewellery or food. The combination of stalls simply repeats itself down every road. Wherever you go it all looks and smells the same! To try and counter the odour, many shops burned incense. Personally, I don't think that helped much, as I can't stand that smell either!! After feeling a little disheartened from my introduction to Thailand, I returned to my hotel
