Who is that standing in slips
Untitled Hey Nackers, Well after all the hype and excitement of Whistler it was on to have some rest in Vancouver... Not really, we still had to find some Canadians with at least a 5 year olds knowledge of cricket. I mean they all scratch their noggins and proclaim "Cricket? You have to know what a crumpet is to understand cricket" or "Doesn't it have a wooden ball" Anyway this is how Beefie and I have explained it. 1. You have two sides, one out in the field and one in. 2. Each man that in the side that's in [View Full Entry]

Plenty of water but no cricket, or for that fact people
Hi Nackers, Well what a road trip so far. We have made it 5,000 km across Canada and stopped at every major centre across the way. We have hunted bears in northern Ontario, been the toast of the town at the Juno awards in Saskatoon, climbed the highest peaks of the Rockies, partied hard in Whistler, but still no sign of an Canadian with half a cricket brain (Plenty of Aussies in Whistler though). The first point of call was the Lake Superior provincial park, which is known for Bears and Moose. Beefie would not shut up insisting on singing [View Full Entry]

Just think Beefie, what we could do with all this beer. I know drink it!
Hi Nackers, Well it has been a while since i last reported on our shenanigans but that does not mean that we have not been out and about. Canadians love their beer almost as much as Aussies so we thought we would go and see it made first hand. We took a short trip up the road to a small town called Cremore with a not so micro microbrewery. After quite as few free samples of their fine product (s it’s till no VB) we took the tour of the brewery. Beefie shed a few tears at the site of [View Full Entry]

Not to much going on here
Hi Nackers, Well Beefie and I did it we went to see one of the seven wonders of the world, the Niagara Falls. At first i thought the site of water falling over a cliff would be as exciting as watching Flintoff's batting displays in the Ashes, but it was more like a Warney leg break that turned at 90 degrees to take out off stump. Needless to say Beefie and I were impressed. The first stop was at the wirlpool on the way to the falls. There was about as much turn in the pool as a delivery from Ashley [View Full Entry]

Can't see any snow bunnies from up here
Hi Nackers Well Beefie and I have traded in the sun and the beach babes in for the cold and some snow bunnies. When we flew into Toronto it was -8C and I reckon my balls were up in my throat, especially since we only had our cricket whites on. Once we found our bearings we decided to go up to one of the mountains and have a look around at a place called Georgian peaks near Collingwood. There was not much going on so we decided to go to the pub for a few pints and to watch some sport. [View Full Entry]

Disney and Beyond Beefie and I have had a whirlwind week in LA, first we visited Disneyland where Beefie nearly got into a fight with Mickey for making moves on Minnie. Have you ever noticed that Mickey and Minnie have the same last name but don't live together. Are they married or related? And if they are related why are they in a relationship?? We hired a car and went to Newport beach to try and find us a rich desperate Newport housewife. The beach was nice but we could not find any sugar mummas to look after us. After Newport [View Full Entry]
