Salmon Jess...you really should know what a salmon look like at this point in your relationship...God know's you eat enough fish. I'm surprised you don't know their scientific names yet!!!!!
ships sound wonderful Your history is pretty close
Battle of Trafalgar: October 21, 1805
HMS Warrior: 1860s
Images of the ships are so enticing that I can only imagine how it felt to see them 'in the flesh'. Your whole trip sounds wonderful...I am travelling with you in spirit, enjoying all the blogs.
Hugs from home where, at the moment at least, it is not snowing!

Cool Thats so neat that u got to go into Jane Austins house. I bet is was real neat to be walking through it. It makes me want to make a trip down there.
Warwick Castle Make sure you get photos of each other in the stocks!! The figures are so lifelike that they might startle you ... do climb the tower that was built in the 14th century and imagine knights defending it -- amazing!! I hope you get to see the knight explaining the armor -- try on the armor and heft a sword if you can, too.... those little medieval knights were tough!
Andrea will be green with envy that you were able to get into Jane Austen's house as we got there too late so could only wander a bit in the gardens.
Stratford is gorgeous!!! the ducks on the river are quite tame; if you take bread crumbs you might get to feed them and see their wee babies.
Love you,
Aunty Margo
