Double Dice Campground? Red Lion Casino Buffet? Hilarious. You just couldn't make up those names. Which one of you had to be rushed to the hospital after the buffet? Hope you're having a nice time.

I Heart City Lights! Man, I miss that bookstore! Well, I think I'm all caught up on your adventures. (FYI: When I typed "Tammy Due blog" into Google, you came up as the first hit.) A condo?! You know you're just supposed to use the timeshare people for a free place to stay and then tell them you're not interested, right? :) Carry on, and here's hoping your mechanical woes are over.
Vegas, it's hot there you know! Wow, a condo in Vegas, craziness abounds. I guess you just always wanted a place to go to let out a little craziness?! After having lived in those there parts I can certainly tell you that you should visit in the winter!
What Mintz didn't mention is that we got Missy's bag in front of the Opera House in Paris and then showed it the sights of Montmarte, highly entertaining! Keep trucking and enjoy the rest of your trip, Su B.
CHOCO-TINI I'm just happy to read that a fancy martini came into the picture well before Vegas, and that they seemingly had nothing to do with the condo purchase! Chris, have one for me soon...or should I say, have one for MINTZ soon? He's probably staying away from them, so have one in his honor (zzzzz).
Vegas! A condo?!?!? Like a timeshare or something? Man, they must have seen you coming!! This has been a fun read! I am very glad that the trip is going well, or well enough. Melissa and I are back from our adventures in Europe. We had a great, great time. The only issue was regarding our luggage, which US Airways displaced on the way over. Melissa got hers almost a week later, and I got mine on the 22nd. US Airways did make up for this by losing our luggage on the way back! I am waiting for the next blog with baited breath.
Colorado I'm glad everyone is o.k. and doing well. Tammy, you have left your readers with a cliff hanger...no pun intended. Hopefully the RV is back in action and ready to climb the mountains. These are stories which will last a lifetime!
Sincerely,
Mitch
Impressive Hey Tammy! I just caught up on ALL the places you've been. Wow! I'm jealous that you're in "middle-America" I'm deep into "Omnivore's Dilemma" and I totally want to go to a farm in Nebraska or Kansas or somewhere near there. Of course, I really want to go to the Polyface Farm after reading this book...sounds like an awesome experience.
It sounds like you guys are having a blast! Keep at it. I'll be looking forward to reading about your next adventure.

teachers DO rule! Hey there guys! Just got back from our trip out west and I thought of you...we made it to Yosemite for the first time and saw LOTS of "1800RV4Rent"s driving by us. Is that on your list of stops? We hiked up to Vernal Falls. For non-hikers like us, it was reasonably difficult, but well worth it. The views are like nothing I've ever seen and you literally climb right alongside the waterfall. Pretty amazing stuff. Just don't curse me along the way if you feel a little like you are going to pass out from the hundreds of steps you have to climb. It's worth it, I promise.
Hope all is still going well! I'm enjoying the "funny moments" especially!
Let's Talk Jayhawk! Enjoy Kansas! Levenworth Prison is there and a whole bunch of sunflowers as I recall. History boy Chris can tell you all about Bleeding Kansas and I'm sure Mintz will respond with fascinating anecdotes about the Wilmot Proviso.
Enjoy the heartland!
Sincerely,
Mitch
What happened to Nashville? We miss you guys, but it sounds like you are having a great time. We have enjoyed reading the play by play and we give you all a lot of credit for doing this...next time take Steve! No Nashville at all? I would love to go to the Grand Ole Opry because you know there are tons of country songs on my ipod! Take good care of my nephews and try not to let people take advantage of you too much. Love, Mary Beth, Steve, calli and Ryan
Visit the Long Branch Tam, Chris and boys:
If you get to Dodge city, you will have to visit boot hill and by all means the "Long Branch Saloon". It must all still be there--especially boot hill-Ha. I was there 43 years ago:).

Mom

Coolers galore here Your doing great!! We have plenty of coolers to send you on your way. You can load up on your next set of goodies here for your trip. Chris, your request will be in the oven tomorrow and waiting on you, after you all dive in the pool and relax. It's been a little cooler at night so the water is a nice 84 degrees. See you tomorrow. Toto, I don't think we're in Kansas anymore. I hope you guys have a great time! With any luck, you won't ever need to wear 4 pairs of ruby red shoes and click your heels three times while chanting, "there's no place like home!" Good luck! Take lots of pics!
