We entered south (sur) Baja California and found a sic carrabian style beach, then headed down to the town of Insurgents to meet some of the friends, Our contact there was Dan McCloud, we had no phone contact when we arrived but we managed to leave a message and he rode his push bike around the small town until he found the only tourists in town, Not too hard really as we have been standing out from most of the locals. We stayed with some friends there that night then travelled around the bottom part of South Baja California. (Cabo san Lucas and San Jose del Cabo) Swimming, snorkeling and caught a boat out to see some great sites and hit up some great beaches. We just crossed the border into south baja and are heading to meet dan a worker another days drive south for meeting on sunday. We crossed into mexico thursday morning and had a look around tijuana and the beaches we couldn´t beleive how third world it was as soon as you cross the border. We checked out the markets until the cops screwed us for havin sleeping pills and had to pay the 1500 pasoes.. pricks! so we started headin south and have seen some interesting landscapes and towns. Thge local people in the smaller towns have been much more friendly and has been fun trying to communicate with them.. Our spanish needs alot of work yet. ... read more
