Great blog, photos and tips, but.....
I got so excited reading that you were heading to Tupiza, where I am now. I thought we'd finally meet, but then I saw your November date. I'd planned to be here then too, but I'm a couple of months late--waaa. However, thanks for the tips and the thumbs up on Potosi. How great that you were here before the massive rains we're now having--your photos sparkle (as did your romantic story of The Kiss). Happy travels!

For altitude sickness
Get some coca leaves and chew on them, the locals swear by it! And it works, at least, the travellers I met who had tried it (that includes my own parents) said it worked like a charm. Enjoy Uyuni, it is amazing!

The layout
You guys have a picture stretching all over the top of your blog (here its the beach picture) and also you have managed to get rid of the intro (the part telling everyone who you are (the bio)) and only presents the blog entry. Hope you have some good answers for us ;-)

THEY BELONG TO ARGENTINA
I am glad you liked the Iguazú Falls. They belong to Argentina. They are in our territory. You can see them from the Brazilian side, but they are in Argentina, in the Province of Misiones. Great shots. Hugs from Argentina.

Our RTW lasted 583 days = 1 year, 7 months, 5 days. That means 83 weeks/13,992 hours/839,520 minutes/50,371,200 seconds of LIVING THE DREAM We love to travel. It is as simple as that ;-) 30.09.2011 we embarked on the trip of our lives ;-) in 2007 we got inspired by our friends (Monique and Nigel who constantly travel and have been on the RTW) and since then we have been thinking about it all the time.
