Hello Areep :) I just spotted this blog now. It seems all hell is breaking loose in Bangkok, with people getting shot and civilians attacking the army. I don't think you should go to Bangkok. Check the news updates. Mel

Thanks for your info. Maybe this 2 guys ( the captain and his assitant ) is vietnamesse too. We don't even know right .? LOL

Actually there are no Cambodian people living in those floating houses. They are all Vietnamese, they don't have any houses on land, and they are there all the time. If you paid enough attention, you would recognize Vietnamese spoken and Vietnamese written (in Latin alphabets) here and there. They're all struggling to survive every day because very little fish left in the lake. Happy travels!

Hi areep. Did you took a package to climb the mount Kinabalu. I tried hard to DIY my trip to climb Kinabalu but apparently we aren't allowed to booked any bed by our selves in Laban Rata. I would be really happy to avoid any package that they are offering...it is ridiculously expensive. I'd love to make it on my own...what say you? tq
