29th January 2011 It took me nearly hour and a half from Kuta to Ubud. I was fast asleep during the bus trip when I suddenly awake to a beautiful scenery of Ubud. All of the hectic town atmosphere were replaced by a serene paddy field view. I can see the villagers were busy carving their statue of god and goddess, local artist taking their time producing fine artworks, and their majestic pura & puri (temple & castle) ... I just thought to myself : this is heaven! The bus passed by the Ubud art market...there were fulled with foreigners, its a must visit market while you're in Ubud. Since we had a blast in Perhentian Island, we decided to continue our journey... this time to Malaysian heritage city, MELAKA! I was in my practical training in an architecture firm during this time and the rest were busy working too so we agreed on a weekend trip. We thought it would be nice to travel by car this time so Ain agreed to drove her BMW!! We were all excited on that Saturday morning and they arrived at my house around 8.00am. 25th December 2010 We had to wait for Teyha's arrival from Klang, so me, Ieien and Ain went to have our breakfast in Bangsar. This was my first trip ever to abroad. Although it is just a neighboring country ; i was really excited about it. The reason why I'm on this trip is actually to attend a gig that my boyfriend (Jimmy) and his band will be playing in. After I got my first ever passport, I've start counting the days ever since...until I realized that I have an exam paper on the day of the gig. Since I was a very stubborn girl I decided to just stick with the plan.
