Local Spaniards were most appreciative of the Spanish music - but they really got excited at all of the energy the chorus put into the American set. Yesterday I have had the great privilege to see the choir in my town (Osuna). . .Yesterday I received several surprises: 1: the quality of the choir, the good impasto (sound-colour), its enthusiasms and joy for the music and singing! I'm a great fan of children choirs and boys choirs. . .For this reason I was a little surprised not to know Anima Singers and I expected not an especial thing. . . From Amy Hohulin: We had a beautiful night for an outdoor concert in the courtyard at Osuna University - about an hour from Seville. Kids sang for over an hour and had an encore with two standing ovations. What a great start to the tour! Tomorrow we leave for Cordoba. ... read more
