So after a few days in Kuala Lumpur we (meaning I) got a bit claustrophobic, what with the heat and smells and the amount of people. We decided to head up the coast to Georgetown, but at the last minute we changed our minds and decided to visit Pulau Pangkor which is a little island a bit further down. The journey was surprisingly easy once we had navigated the organised chaos that is the KL bus terminal. Andy managed to get us tickets while I bravely had a sit down guarding the bags. We are finally here, a rather uneventful journey with no major hiccups. Thanks to a lift from Graham we were at Stansted in plenty of time to catch our flight and after a few swift ones in the Wetherspoons we were shuttled out to our plane and on our way. The plane was spacious enough which is saying something with my lanky legs. Emma even managed to curl up into a cocoon and hibernate for most of the flight. A fact she is very proud of. I think her Nytol/Gin abuse was the main reason behind this. When we touched down at 8 in the evening it was a shock to the system to go from snow to 30 degrees. It has finally reached the point of no return where we are starting to realise this is the last time we will be doing things for some time. The last time we will spend a whole day doing nothing. The last time we will have access to our own computer and room. The last time we will go to work (ok thats not such a bad one). For once Emma is being the optimist out of all of this and saying its soon going to be the first time we do lots of things as well.
