Hi Andrea, sounds like you're having my kind of holiday...lots of walking, and cruising/ferrying to the islands. Sounds heavenly. I think that jewelry is always something good to get from your visits. Maybe you could collect earrings or charms (ya know, for charm bracelets). Well, at least they don't take up a lot of room in your backpack. Maybe you get some cds with traditional music. Enjoy the islands...Love, Mom

Andrea! Everything sounds so amazing I forget if you're going into France anytime soon but Zach said if you were near him he'd take you around too! Because he's on his holidays right now. So justt lemmmee know. I was looking for something special from Greece and Octopus was definitely not on there.. At least you'll know what it is and no one told YOU it was chicken .. : ) Hope you have an amazing time in Milan < I can't wait to see all your pictures!:) Have you sent some to us? Hola babe! I can think of at least one souvenir...perhaps with the name Stravos, or Kostas, or someone who's last name ends in "oulos". Bring one for me and Jayna please!! And remind your mom that no news is good news!! Or maybe bring back an olive branch head wreath for your toga parties! Have tons o' fun! Miss ya!

You Stole my trip!
Hey andrea, I so totally know what that ferry ride is like because I slept on it, to and from greece on my trip through Europe and the Pink Palace on Corfu- I went there too... You are totally hitting up the best places. I remember the plate smashing and the fires by the beach at night- those are the moments you'll always keep with you- right now there's soo much hitting you but when it sets you'll be so amazed with how for one month you got to live life- and in the past way possible- as a traveller. Anyways if you're looking for a break from the city and you need a bit of a spiritual retreat- which you prolly don't have time for- but do it anyways and go to a place called Meteora- at the base of which is Kalambaka. Meteora is this awe-inspiring place with gravity defying monstaries on the tops of cliffs- cliffs that seem to just rise right out of the ground and monstaries that have no bussiness being on top of them. You can visit the different monastaries and just look around. This place is as off the beaten track as you can get and is worht the one day trip from greece if you can do it. Make sure to find time in greece to eat lamb!!! can't remmber what your food preferences are like but just do it! Finally, If you truly want the traveller's experience I suggest buying, if you haven't already, the book "On the Road" by Jack Kerouac, for those long train rides. Yah, Andrea. Glad to hear from you. I wasn't sure what country you were in or where exactly. I thought you might have gone to Pompeii, but it appears that you went right to the ferry on Friday. Keep in touch. We love hearing from you! Mom

Hey Andrea, sounds like you're having a blast. I'm taking notes so that when I go to Europe, I can see some of this stuff myself. You're trip sounds awesome so far, except for the three hours in line (ick). Can't wait to hear about the rest of it!

Weird thing...so one of my friends was looking at my pictures on my msn space today...she lives in Vancouver...anyway, she says you guys went to elementary school together...do you remember Lina Miller??? How weird is that?!!!

wow... you certainly did a whirlwind tour of London...but you will be back so if there's anyone (er...anyTHING) you missed out on, you can see it then. Are you flying to Italia? What is the weather like? Are you having to lug your pack everywhere you go? And so Dan was your travel buddy for England? How are you finding the people? Are they warm and friendly????
