Suggestions I went with intrepid travel. But you can certainly go with many many other trips, or rent a car. Just fly to Alice Springs, there are many tours to be had, or fly to Ularu. The flights are tricky only certain ones fly to alice springs. The cost is a little high. no matter which. If the weather is dry you can hike to the top, it requires really good mountain shoes specifically for climbing smooth rocks if there is such a thing, regular tennis shoes may not have enough grab. People are killed every year climbing the rock. It was raining when I was there and was closed for climbers. I am a climber but would not choose to climb this one. HAve fun!
INDIOT? DON'T YOU KNOW A "GIANT MORAY EEL" WHISPERER WHEN YOU SEE ONE?!?! ;)
WHY DON'T OUR PICTURES EVER TURN OUT AS LOVELY AS YOURS DO? NICE WORK, ANGIE!
Great photos Looks like you are having a fantastic time down under. I haven't, until until now, had time to read all your blogs being on vacation myself. The photos are telling and help narrate the story of your adventure. Thanks for sharing.
Your Lucky Day in Paradise or a day full of Passion Hi Angie, another wow day. Loved the pics again. You must be having a great deal of luck after having all those birds flying around. And seeing whales. awesome. Beware the lurking Aussie dolphin, they are even worse. LOL. Keep enjoying mate.
Bobbing along Hi Angie. So glad you are seeing so much. I will have to lend you my seasick wrist bands. What a weird experience for YOU to be having. Pressure points etc. Interesting. Keep enjoying. Keep on blogging. x
Cairns, Can Can, Tucan, Can Too, Wow again. What a great trip. You are now my official trip advisor for Australia. The photos are great. I fly Jetstar all the time. It is budget but usually direct you to the plane. Must just be Darwin Jetstar and the back woods, so to speak of Oz. Pretty basic by the sounds of it. Another adventure story to be told. Beware of the dolphins in Cairns.
The funny thing is I thought I was eating American Bison ( buffalo). but then I realized the you didn't have American Buffalo. I wanted to see what an Australian water buffalo looked like but it all tasted the same to me!
Okay, So I bought my ticket I bought my ticket, now what was the name of that snake...... handler? Fair crack of the whip mate. You look like you are having a bloody good time. No bull about that burger.
Crocodile Rock Looks fantastic. It truely is one of the most beautiful parts of Australia. Frangie is insisting that I take her to meet the tour guide.
Nice warm weather Look forward to hearing all about Darwin and the surrounding areas. Keep enjoying. Loving the blogs. Not surprised about being a strange trip. Lucky you are experienced at dealing with strange. and I'm not talking about me.
Welcome to Australia Loving your blogs. So glad you have seen so much of Central Australia. Sounds like you have been doing some walking training too. And body odour is universal, sadly on this one Aust has not been left out of the mix. No more kids to travel with, just BO. Swapped one for the other. Looking forward to hearing more of your travels. I have been to Central Aust although not to Darwin. Keep on enjoying our beautiful country. x
Oops. The Amazing Race, I think I will be doing the driving and you will be the navigator. Keep enjoying the experience of Australia Mate!!! See you next week. x
ALL YOUR NEW GADGETS, AND THE PRIMATIVE "BANG ON THE BOAT" COMMUNICATION TECHNIQUE STILL IS MOST EFFECTIVE? LUCKILY SO, OR YOUR SON WOULD HAVE HAD TO "BANG ON THE MOMMA" NEXT WITH HIS PADDLE! :)
