UPDATE 10 June 2010: I am now a Canadian living in Africa! Today is the day that the World Cup starts here in Africa - though admittedly at the other end of the continent - and so I hope that there will be many eyes on this wonderful land. I now live in Mali - one of the poorest countries on the planet - and as you will see I have swapped a life of jet-setting and hotel parties for one of more serious a sober work! I founded and run a small non-profit called Angel Projects
http://www.angelprojects.org/[/url - and I have moved my blog onto my new website for the organisation.
Please feel free to visit, read, comment, recommend and otherwise leave feedback. This is an adventure for us all to take part in and to share.
Many thanks
Andrea
I am a Canadian, currently living in Dubai, UAE. I am a Flight Attendant with Emirates Airline, and am currently jetting around the world and living my dream of being paid to travel!
I have never been good at writing things down. I've always felt that my life moves too fast to keep up with it by putting pen to paper. I tried keeping a journal for a while when I first began travelling, but I found that the only time I would write anything down was when I needed to vent and get frustrated thoughts out of my head. The rest of the time I was too busy enjoying myself to take the time to write in my journal. So it didn't last.
Thankfully, the internet now exists, and although my typing will still never be able to keep up with my active mind, I am going to make an attempt at recording some of the wierd and wonderful things that have, and are, happening in my life. Mostly, I want a place to show my family and friends some of the photos that they have been requesting to see for so long! And to those of you who enjoy hearing stories, I will try my best to mention any stories that seem to stand out.
Thank you, and enjoy!

I Have Moved - 4 Years On - And a Totally New Challenge So much has happened since I started this blog - and looking back over four years I am a little sad that I didn't keep up with my blog writing. Since those last entries from 2006 - I got married, continued to travel the World, moved through a couple of different jobs, saw the wonderful boom times of Dubai and then the dreadful 'crash'. I hope to cover all of those highlights in some detail over the next few months on my new Blog (http://www.angelprojects.org/blog/my-stories/) - but for now I just wanted all of my subscribers and followers to know that I am still alive and well! And that I have decided to start writing again. A few months ago I found myself

So, Catching up on my old blog - and announcing my NEW ONE! Thank you so much for following my Travel Blog from my flying days. How things have moved on since then! I cannot believe that it was four years ago that I was conducting the 'travel' adventure with Emirates and gallivanting across the world. Many of you have written to me asking advice about working with Emirates and about Dubai generally. I hope that I have been of assistance to you, and I haven't got round to it then please feel free to drop me a line again. 4 Years On I am no longer in Dubai. I was there during the boom - and very during the BUST! What a shame - but it was certainly good fun while it lasted. I doubt

One of the many nice things about traveling the world is when you can reunite with old friends again. On my first trip to London I was able to do just that.
