After a couple mishaps at the airports I somehow managed to make it into Sevilla unscathed. There's nothing like getting the "trial by fire" of running around the Madrid airport trying to figure out where to get a connecting boarding pass when everyone else got there's at the same time. We are getting put up in a hotel for the first few nights and it is an interesting experience. The food we get is amazing, but it's almost on that level of being "too fancy" for me to appreciate. I am really looking forward to moving in with my host family and getting some real traditional cooking there! Speaking of which, I will be moving in with my host family tomorrow morning.
