I am Jade Balagasay-Kenny. Currently living in Burlington,Ontario Canada. I am a Filipina, I grew up in the province of Eastern Samar called Giporlos. The town is small with a lot of coconut farms, rice fields and fishing areas wherein it's one of the main source of income in the place. I got married with the man I've been talking to with for 5 years over the net. He is a very loving and caring husband. I have nothing to ask for. I currently work as a Teacher Aid and I love working with kids. I decided to make a travel blog for me so that people who are dear to me can keep track on me. Last summer, I and my husband went to Dryden, Ontario. His hometown. It was a very nice place. We went for vacation and for another wedding reception for his father's side of the family. I had fun and enjoyed moments that I had with them.So relaxing place and I would love to come back again. We left early morning and took the plane to Winnipeg and another plane ride to Dryden, this time it was a smaller plane. it scared me a lot for I can feel the wind when we were flying.I told my husband next time I would like to drive from Winnipeg to Dryden hehehe.I hope you enjoy this one!... read more

The Mall of Asia is the biggest mall in Asia. It is wide and big and has lots of shopping spots and great views from the Manila Bay. You will enjoy walking around and see lots of stuffs and food.... read more

A Journey To The Crater Of Taal Volcano

Its was mid-afternoon already when we hiked to the crater of Taal Volcano in Tagaytay yesterday. The sun was up and it was so hot. We took a boat to bring us to the volcano, then hiked for about 4.5 kilometers by riding in a horse because walking is not a good idea, the road is not goor yet. While travelling, you can smell sulfur and can see some part of the mountain with smoke coming out from the ground. When we get to the top and have seen the crater of the volcano, its a very beautiful place, nice view and can really appreciate the beauty of the nature, though the volcano is one of the most active volcano in the Philippines, the beauty that it holds cannot be paid by any amount that anyone ... read more

Mayon Volcano is found in the Southern part of Luzon, it stands 2462 m above the Albay Gulf, it is one of the most active volcano that we have. It is a beautiful and breath taking view to see.... read more

Philippines is one of the most beautiful country in Asia. People are so nice, the view is great and breath taking. Eastern Samar is the province where I came from. Lot's of coconut farms, rice fields and fishing in the area. Life is very simple, yet people are up to date. The dance called " Kuratsa" is very popular in this area. From politicians, socialites and normal or ordinary people dances "Kuratsa". People loves to chat, go swimming and stay out. I love this place! And I miss this place too. Giporlos is the town where I grew up, a town that I will always love and be greatful of. One day I will come back with a big smile and dance with my Kababayans.... read more
