WOW! As your trip winds down that is the only word I could come up with that describes how it has been following your trip. I can only imagine what kind of experience it has actually been for your family although your stories do a great job! Thanks for all the sharing. This weblog is a great resource for travelers, especially those considering a family adventure. What's next? Another trip or back to 'normal' life in Tasmania for now? Be well!
One excited girl... Hi guys,
Zoe can't wait to see you, Olivia and has had a count down for a couple of weeks now. Hope you're ready for her! She'll be so jealous of the panda though. Safe trip home and look out for those coughing swines on the plane!!
Loving it! I continue to love reading about your adventure and seeing the great pictures. The one a few articles ago - "Mitch after 3 months traveling" was very funny. Are you going to be heading back out on the trail after your return home? Be well and happy trails!
gorgeous pandas hi guys,
have arrived in balmy Brisbane safely - managed to avoid the floods. Your travels in China sound fantastic, and the photos are wonderful. Looking forward to seeing you all at home when we get back.
lotsa love,
sue and rob
Such rich reports Your pieces are so great. It is clear that you guys are having an incredible travel experience and an even more incredible family adventure. You've got a book here in the works! It's engaging, inspiring, entertaining and informative (making a lot of notes for my next trip). Happy Trails.
Happy birthday, Olivia! Hello again! Laos sounds absolutely amazing. And with Zoe's birthday tomorrow it means only one thing...Olivia's birthday! What a wonderful and enlightening way to spend an 8th birthday. A little more exciting than the tenpin bowling we have planned!
We can't wait to catch up when you get back next month.

Hi from swans Hello you 6 mad Mitchells. Sorry have not been in touch yet. Everything sounds and looks awesome. I think you are all amazing. Good to hear that you have the occasional domestic disagreement or I would think you were making it all up. Have heaps more to ask and will try to think of something interesting to tell you. Will write a proper message soon. Miss you very much. Glad you're not in Thailand still. Stay safe. Love Sal

And it just seems to get better! Hello there Mitchells! Your commentary Deb is just amazing. You will never know how jealous we are of your bravery and courage to skip the everyday grind and head to countries we could only dream of doing with grown ups, let alone children! But then your kids are amazing.
Having been to Pattaya I know exactly what you experienced. It's incredible to think it goes on everyday there without a worry.
Looking forward to your thoughts on Laos.
Zoe says hi!
Tigerland Having seen the photos of your children with those beautiful tigers, Will was wondering when we can go to Tigerland and was very impressed that there is a whole country named after them!
I love your stories! Your reports are great to read and it is clear you are all having a truly fantastic and unique experience. Thanks for sharing. I am definitely going to consider a side trip to Battembang next time I am in Siem Reap after reading this. Happy trails!
television rights Your family adventure would make great tv! Lonely Planet, SBS, something like that! Mitchy's pretty handy with a video camera isn't he? I can see you doing this for a living. Maybe Africa next, then South America. Just a suggestion. x
This is the most wonderful travel blog It is a great pleasure reading your entertaining and informative stories! Sounds like the trip so far is everything you had hoped it would be and more. You really seem to have very special kids. Look forward to following your adventures! Be well all.

What an adventure! What a wonderful adventure. I was chilled to the bone one minute to think of the atrocities that have taken place there and drooling the next - the food sounds incredible! I obviously bounce back quickly!
Have fun, looking forward to the next update (and feeling slightly smug that I have successfully accessed my first blog, baby steps!)
