Hill Country Have enjoyed all your blogs so far! You took some great pictures of the Hill Country, and I am happy to read and see how much you have enjoyed your Texas trip and are really making the most of it. Also liked seeing Neeko and Lizzie on tour! Was fun to see the old familiar areas from when we lived down that way!
Keep on enjoying yourselves, and we look forward to seeing you when you hit N. Texas! The trees get even bigger! :-)

Hi you two,
I'm very impressed with your pictures and naration of San Antonio. Maybe we'll get there one day too!
How are you finding the campsites, I hope they aren't all just by luck.
Travel safely, and enjoy...
Randy
I just found out you had left for your great adventure from Bill Wesp, so had to look for myself. I'm glad you are keeping all of us up to date, and this is giving me ideas for a trip of our own. We need to get the Winnebago out for exercise soon anyway.
Continue to have fun, and we'll be looking for your entries....

The dogs and water Hi Lynn and George,
Gosh, what a great trip you are having. I'm enjoying reading your blog - almost as if I were along. I was thinking about your comments that the dogs would not drink the sea water. I guess I remember when we had Honey, our Golden Retriever with us when we toured Texas, actually Honey was getting sick and we couldn't figure out why - her nose was hot and she was sluggish and just not her energetic self. After a while, we noticed that she would not drink even the "drinking" water from the campsites. We weren't drinking it either because it did not taste very good - very alkaline. I went to the store and bought her bottled water and she drank until I thought she would never stop. I felt bad that I hadn't realized what was happening to her - she was just plain getting dehydrated. So I would suggest that you keep an eye on them and how much water they are actually drinking and if they start to get sluggish, switch to bottled water. Maybe Honey was just spoiled because we have such clear, pure, Lake Superior water in our water tables but it could have been disasterous for her. Your pictures are great! Keep them all coming! Hugs and safe travel. Sharron
longing for more sensory input Hello,
Your photographs are fantastic! I'll have to share this blog with Ryan and together we can dream about a future vacation in a WARM, sandy place with lots of wildlife (animal that is) and lush plant life. I miss the sand and dunes of West Michigan summers. Sure wish the blog could give tactile and auditory input, as well as visual. THANKS, again for sharing your experiences with us all. Keep on sharing and ENJOY very minute!
Greetings Hello Lynne and George!
I have encouraged reading your blog regularly. The photographs add a lot to my "arm chair" touring. THANKS for sharing! I hope that your calls to the insurance company are the last for your travels. Stay safe, enjoys your travels, and keep on sharing, especilly with those of us stuck in winter.
Whew! Now this entry, although I'm sorry about your mishaps, sounds more like a Holmberg vacation.
It's great you're sharing the good and the not so good experiences.
I just retrieved my crystal ball and I foresee much better times ahead.
We're off to the Caribbean in the 25th and then a stay of 9days in Florida.
I'll visit your site if and when I find a cyber spot in FL. 3-3 to 3-9...
Thanks! We are enjoying your travels. Hope all is well. We travel to Ohio on Sun. to help with the new house. Today is the day they become home owners for the first time.
I'm impressed Hi Lynne and George,
Thanks so much for taking the time to relay all your wonderful adventures through travelblog. Someone (Lynne?) is a great writer.
Your detail is most enjoyable.
I hope you continue to share....photos are neat as well.
I doubt Gerry and I will ever take a trip such as yours so it's nice to
travel vicariously.
Continued happy trails...J. Holmberg

Badlands beauty
When we visited the Badlands 2 years ago, we couldn't believe a pile of rock could be so beautiful.
