Lake Palace Udaipur
Where James Bond Octopussy was filmed!Arrived in Udaipur...and chilled.
Spent some time marvelling at the lake and the Lake Palace Hotel.
Spoilt myself with a meal at a very expensive restaurant...had chicken, the first bit of meat in 3 weeks! Boootiful!
Hotel Lal Ghal was very chilled, met a nice bunch of lads on a cricket holiday...drank more beer with them than I have since I got here. Also met up with some cracking lasses from Ireland and Scotland....in fact all nations of the British Isles were represented aswell as Southern Ireland.
Managed to sort out contact lens stuff having bought one months worth of solution to last for 3 months!! Good work Jon! Here hoping it works
Visited Monsoon palace for sunset...also used in Octopussy...and the lads surprised us with a few beers!!! Fantastic..until the bloke told us not to drink...which we kind of ignored...Sunset was amazing.
Spent 3 days in Udaipur...saw another temple....of most note...went to the gym!!! Can't believe it...I truly am sad! but going from 3 times a week to 0 has been hard work. Funiest things was seeing a Indian Lady running on the treadmill in full saree! Nice one!
