Ho Chi Minh City
I flew from Da Nang to Ho Chi Minh City. My plan was to rest a couple of days before flying out of Vietnam to the next country.

Commonly known as Saigon, Ho Chi Minh City is the largest city in Vietnam, with nearly 10 Million people.

Many people visit Ho Chi Minh City to see the war museum, the Cu Chi Tunnels and many more sites. However, I just rested, explored the Bui Vien Street (backpacker and bar street, very lively in the evenings) and enjoyed some rooftop views.

After nearly 2 months, I needed some rest and also didn't feel like exploring a big city in the heat.

Vietnam has been a great experience for me. The nature and scenery of the north, the rice fields and Pagodas/temples in the center, the craft and art of various places are beautiful and worth exploring. But I am most impressed by its people, their hard working trait and most importantly their willingness to always smile and talk to you. Vietnam will have a special place in my memories.
