We've decided to spend a third night here so today we just spent our time looking round the old town again. Wandered the shops, the market (which smelt distinctly of fish but was cool because it seemed a little more authentic than the very pristine shops), along the river and up to the Japanese covered bridge which was crawling with tourists. There are loads of tourists here as we expected and as there are everywhere in Vietnam, quite a few families actually with young kids.

It's absolutely boiling, about 30 degrees and we're struggling to find suntan lotion as they only sell it in miniscule bottles, not a good combination! Booking on a bus/boat tour tomorrow to some Hindu temple ruins at a place called My Son.
