Went to bed as soon as we got into our room, read for a bit then managed to grab a couple of hours sleep. Had wander down to the old town which is now a world heritage sight. It really is very pretty and charming. The streets are lined with rustic looking French/Mediterranean style buildings all with gorgeous hanging lanterns outside them. The majority of the shops here are tailors and the clothes look amazing, if only I could afford to splash out! The shoes look great too....The rest of the shops tend to sell arts and crafts.

We went down to the river in the evening and had a meal at a rooftop cafe that overlooked the old town 😊 then we looked round some of the book shops. When we were walking back the electricity died and it was pitch black, I mean really dark, yet the bikes (pedal and motor) didn't stop! which made quite a nerve racking walk to our GH.
