Today was an amazing day. Today we woke up, ate breakfast, and got ready to go on a Mekong River Delta tour. We got into a taxi and went to the dock. When we got there we went on the boat we would be on on the tour. Our first stop was a pagoda. Our guide showed us the female and male lions that protected the pagoda. Don't worry, the lions were statues. Then we went inside the pagoda and saw a buddha. You know how buddhas have big ears, apparently thats so the buddhas can here your prayers. Clever huh. Then we walked around the temple and I saw my favourite buddha. The buddha of 1000 hands. Each hand has an eye so the buddha can look at everyone. Thats about 7,000,000 people each hand. Thats alot of people to look at at the same time! 😊. Then we went to the happy room (the toilets) and went back on the boat for breakfast and fruit. Our next destination was a small village on the other side of the Saigon River. We walked for a while and then went to someones house that we didn't ask to go in but the people let us in anyway. They were very friendly. Anyway we went back on the boat to another village to look at the markets. We had a look around at what they had and I got to hold a baby chicken. It liked me for a while but eventually wanted to go back with it's friends so tried to fly away but accidently ended up in the duck cage. Anyway we went back the boat and went to another part to start our walking tour. On the walking tour we saw houses and rice patties but best of all, we learnt how to make necklaces out of tapioca stems and leaves and tooting toys out of a bamboo leaf! Coooooooool! Then we had lunch and went back to the boat to go home. Looking foward to writing to you tomorrow. Zac.

Hey, Sol here! Sorry I didn't get to write to you. Well... I did, but I don't think it worked :(. It sounds like you had a super duper aliuper time in Vietnam. We've been having a pretty good time here. We went up to Yarawonga and went water skiing! I really liked going on this water ride where you hop into a ball like a beach ball but much bigger and you get pushed into a pool. You have have really good balance to stand up.I hope Kyle is enjoying his hat! Sol
