Today is day 3 in Phuket and the sun is about to set, which means drinking cocktails out of fruit on the beach! 
Everyone is complaining about the Novotel here, because we’ve just stepped down from the Sheriton in Bangkok, but to me it’s pretty still pretty amazing! Phuket is amazing! The Thai culture isn’t as strong here, which is a little disappointing, but the feel of this place is much more relaxing!
Day one was party night, we grabbed a few cocktails off the streets for less than 4AUD dollars, and they were absolutely lethal, they are very generous with their alcoholic servings here, nothing like home! We went to a few clubs, and were looking for a club that actually did not exist! One club had a lady boy show on, and as per usual the dirty minging scrags were very funny to watch, Samuel pissed a queen off tipping her back up dancer opposed to her, and the queen glared him down, stopped miming and gave a bit of her costume and her microphone to the back up dancer; twas very funny for us!
The next day, slightly hungover, we went to some caves with bats, some jungles and temples with monkeys and visited James Bond Island, we were told not to touch the monkeys in case of getting rabies, but when the Thai people sold us banana’s for a few cents the monkeys were crawling up our legs; there was this baby monkey that kept following me, almost as cute as Stampy, my baby elephant in Bangkok. In the fisher mans Islands a lady boy threw a monkey at my friend Billie and told us we could take a photo for 2 dollars; which we did, also very cute (the monkey that is)!
We finished off our day playing water volley ball, I insisted on being in Taryn’s team because I had a feeling the woman would be aggressive! My instincts were defiantly not wrong, for a second I thought we were playing water dodge ball with the way she’d hurl that ball at her opponents.
Finally today we went to Coral Island for some snorkelling and parasailing! Highlight of my day, and holiday actually, was watching Taryn parasail! Thinking about it makes me laugh hysterically! After criticising the Japanese tourists for their b-team attempts at the sport, Taryn went up, at first we thought she had confused parasailing for jet skiing because the woman couldn’t get off her feet, as though that wasn’t funny enough, her landing was EPIC! Whilst the men were yelling at Taryn to pull the red cord to let her parachute go so she could land, Taryn was cruising along smiling as she was landing, hangs not moving, and hands most certainly not attempting to pull the red cord from our perspective; very docile. Before she did hit the ground she must have given up hope and started to cross her legs, like the Indian God Ganesh. Upon a very rough descent, she shattered into the water, with all the Thai instructors screaming. The funniest thing is the driver didn’t stop, he kept driving, whilst poor Taryn’s was attempting to doggy pappdle and almost drown, face underwater and all! The tourists behind us were having a field day, as were we. Don’t worry Kellett took photos I’ll post a slide show of it very soon 
On a final note, if one more person takes a photo of me I’m going to snap! I have spent more time taking photos than the total hours of sleep I have had, and we spend too much time posing in front of monuments or pretty sites than actually looking at the view. F M L!
