Benous Diaz!!! After 10 days we leave Mexico to head back to the grand US of A. I am so keen to get back to the USA, there are so many things I have missed about it already, not that I didn’t have a good time in Cancun/Playa Del Carmen, there were just a few issues that really stressed us out. First of all the plumbing; I am not sure how appropriate it might be to share these stories but the plumbing in both of our ‘5 star’ hotels was shocking. On one occasion the toilet began to overflow with diluted urine (will not mention names, but it was not me) and actually reached the bedroom floors. Melissa’s solution was to simply close the toilet lid…. Who is a dumb bitch? And Kelle’s aka Keller or ... read more

So, our mate Danielle, being the extreme organised girl she is has gotten us up at 4am to board a 7am flight… So in America you’re only supposed to be at the airport about 60mins before your flight, and the strip in Vegas is 10 mins away from the airport, so naturally, we were waiting…. And waiting… and waiting at the airport, when we could have been sleeping… and sleeping… Again, Michael Cox aka Deborah Cox was in a bad mood; wouldn’t you be with only 3 hours’ worth of sleep? So the insults are being hurled at all of us from left right and centre. Actually, come to think of it, yesterday Michael spent the whole day alone, because he slept in till noon, and yet he was still cranky during the night… HAHA, you ... read more

Lucky I gave Los Angeles a second chance, because I am already starting to plan my next visit to this amazing city, except this time I’ll defiantly hire a car… Other than the extraordinary amount of money we spent on taxis to get from one place to another, I generally found Los Angeles more expensive than Chicago; but that didn’t stop me from shopping. We found the best shops in West Hollywood on Sunset Blv and Santa Monica Blv… and Rodeo Drive of course… I think with LA, you just have to know where you are going and how to get there in order to appreciate the city. Everything is very spread out, just like everyone always says, but they have some really sexy and funny billboards everywhere to distract us while we were in the ... read more

We’ve been up since 3:30am to get back to LA… I LOVED Chicago, so am not too keen to leave this amazing city to head back to the Los Angeles… Everything was so neat, the structure of the city, the rail network, even the streets were immaculate, not what I had expected from Chicago at all. The people were amazing; they’d conjure up a conversation with us no matter where we were, as though we were their neighbours. The weather wasn’t too bad, yet I still managed to get badly burnt? I very rarely get burnt, it’s a once in a 4 year occasion and of all places to get burnt it was Chicago. Michael shopped a lot; I didn’t buy one thing, even though the shopping is really good. I’m not a fan of the ... read more

I’m writing to ya’ll from the plane; we are on our way to Chicago. My mate Michael and I have been up for almost 72 hours, so much for “not getting jet lagged when you go to the United State”, Wallis! (HAHA) Even though our flight with Qantas was rather pleasant, we still couldn’t get manage to punch out the zzz’s. We flew in on premium economy... same as business except the seats don't drop to 180 degrees, like a bed, they don't let you eat whenever you want and no lounge... but still SOOO GOOD 2 flight attendants looking after 15 of us, the best wines and champagnes and the entertainment was really good and the seat were comfy. Which is more than I can say for this currently flight with American Airlines, flight delayed ... read more

So, we just arrived in Krabi after 4 nights in PhiPhi (P.P) Island; I thought we’d be back into civilization but Krabi is actually a rainforest/rural area, (almost like Cairns). I was expecting something more like Phuket, but I actually now remember when I booked this vacation we wanted something along these lines, whoops. PhiPhi was lovely, which is more than what I can say for our ‘luxury’ accommodation; there was sand EVERYWHERE in the hotel, so much bloody sand! I can barely tolerate sand when I am at the beach, let alone have it follow me to my bed! Besides this minor hiccup, the actual Island itself was paradise. You could walk around the islands and markets within 45 minutes and be back to where you started. The water literally sparkles and the green mountains ... read more

Firstly, apologies once again regarding all grammatical and spelling mistakes, I have not been editing these blogs; don’t have the time, so much to do! Today is our last day in Phuket and by far the best, I’ve had ‘Rami Time’… I went on a jet ski with Billie and we raced Ricky and Mel, very frightening. Billie let me drive the jet ski for a little while, but it felt like we were flying through the air, so I gave her the reigns again. The poor girl probably has bruises all over her body from my bear hugs! Take me again! The day ended off with a 90 min salt scrub and aromatherapy, I now smell like a lotus flower… on this relaxing note ‘the pest’ aka Danielle, is sitting next to me now, and ... read more

Today is day 3 in Phuket and the sun is about to set, which means drinking cocktails out of fruit on the beach!  Everyone is complaining about the Novotel here, because we’ve just stepped down from the Sheriton in Bangkok, but to me it’s pretty still pretty amazing! Phuket is amazing! The Thai culture isn’t as strong here, which is a little disappointing, but the feel of this place is much more relaxing! Day one was party night, we grabbed a few cocktails off the streets for less than 4AUD dollars, and they were absolutely lethal, they are very generous with their alcoholic servings here, nothing like home! We went to a few clubs, and were looking for a club that actually did not exist! One club had a lady boy show on, and as ... read more

Alright, so I’m not very good at updating this thing daily, but today we got up at THE most un-Godly hour, 5:30am to catch our flight from Bangkok to Phuket. The flight was pleasant our baggage was not; my lock was broken, my Patron Tequila was smashed in Powers’ bag, her precious suitcase is now moist with Mexican liquor and Michael’s sunscreen imploded in his bag, causing his clothing to now have suspicious white marks on them. Ain’t it jizzy? So day 2, 3 and 4 in Bangkok were quiet nice, Day 2 we went to the floating Markets and we got our haggeling on, I am now pleased to announce that Powers’ skills has improved immensely in this department! The floating Markets took almost 2 hours to get to, and the driver tortured us with ... read more

So Day One in Thailand was a little stressful, but yet for me, everything is stressful! Our Qantas flight was delayed an hour and a half, but it was well worth it! The staff went off, I made friends with some Thai flight attendant and he ensured I got my fair share of alcoholic beverages, amazing! Once we arrived, the city was so humid and very warm for 1am! Our driver's car didn’t have a speed o that worked, infact there are hardly any speed signs around this country. I am also very sure the drivers here make up the lanes and ignore all forms of road rules. HAHA, We are staying at the Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit hotel, the breakfast, the beds and the pool are of the best caliber, IRONIC since the actual city is ... read more
