Tsunami Boat
This boat was in the harbor where all the ferries come in. Hello all,
When i left you last i had just got into koh phi phi and was probably complaining about how expensive it was... well i'm still complaining about how expensive it is but at least it is absolutely gorgeous!! This island was really beautiful and had lots of stuff to do on it, besides the usual stuff that i did on Koh Pha Ngan. The first day that i was there i pretty much just explored the island while doing quite a bit of sweating, which is usually the norm for me, followed by a night at this place called reggae bar which has a muy thai ring in the middle and will give a bucket to anyone who fights inside. Well i'm too smart for that but i saw plenty of people drunker then i was get in there and throw fistacuffs, hilarious. Also saw a big western guy get beat up by a lady boy, pretty classic! I couldn't stop laughing! After that headed to Irish bar (these things are everywhere) to watch the champions league game that started at 2am, they also had 2 for 1 drinks all night so lates just state the obvious and
Island Paradise
Taken from the viewpoint. Koh Phi Phi say that i had a pretty big night. The next day woke up a little later and did a little bit of swimming at the island before taking a boat to maya beach (where the beach was filmed) and low and behold my camera was outta batteries! Super pissed about that cause that beach was really nice. got back and was pretty tired so had a nap and got back on the wagon, well not really had a few beers and then called it a night. hung out the next day and did a bit of snorkeling which was really great and saw a lot of cool stuff. lots of fish and a few blacktip reef sharks, kinda scary at first but all and all not too bad.
Left Phi Phi that afternoon only because i figured that it was gonna break me if i didn't. Took the ferry to Phuket and caught a flight back to bangkok. Stayed a night on the famous (or in-famous, your pick) koh san road and got up bright and early to come here to Kanchanaburi which is home to the bridge on the river kwai. saw the bridge (not that interesting) went
Stairs to the viewpoint
Note to self, don't try while hungover. to the museum (not that interesting) and all and all just have been relaxing for a while. Today checked out the tiger temple which I was totally excited about but all and all turned out to be a big dissapointment. The cab i got in ended up breaking down so i didn't get there till like 3pm and the park closes at 4pm, also i didn't get to take a picture with any of the big tigers, they where already in their cages leaving me pretty bummed. Got to hang around the cubs for a bit which was pretty cool and then had to leave to make sure that i could get back into my cab which broke down again on the way back. other then that staying at a really cool guest house on the river, i mean it literally is on top of the water. so the last few nights just been sitting in the hammock reading and relaxing.
Gonna leave here around mid afternoon to go back to bangkok (again 😞 ) so that i can get on a night bus to Chaing Mai. Talk to you soon.
