Dancing elephant hostel
This is the common room of the hostel I stayed in. Pretty cool huh... Hi!!
Sorry haven't blogged in so long I've just been on the move and not feeling very well 😞 but getting better now finally!! They think it was good poisoning or something? Anyway after a week partying in koh phangan an island off Thailand which was so much fun we are now in Chang Mai. On koh phangan I saw all my school friends and then some friends from primary school-there was 5 of us at one party together on the island at one point. How weird is that? I hadn't seen 3 of them for almost seven years and then we all ended up at exactly the same place at the same time! Just, crazy. Was so so much fun.I stayed with my secondary school friends though in a hostel called the dancing elephant. It was a really cool place with wicked paintings all over the walls and they played really loud music from like
4pm all through the night haha! The rooms had about 15 people in and on one side of the room was one huge bunk bed which had 5 mattresses on and your bed was one of those mattresses! It was so funny just sleeping next
to these random people! I liked it for the first day or two but after that I HATED it because I slept next to a Chinese man who spoke to nobody, snored ALL night and had a twitch and got up about every half hour, god knows why?!?! OMG he was so so annoying. It was kinda funny to begin with and I just put up with it cos I was having just such a hilarious time with all my friends but when I got ill it was rubbish and I am so glad to never sleep in a room with him again ahahaha!! Some of the nights we went out there were fire dancers who had this huge skipping rope which was set alight but I think cos the rope had petrol on it it didn't catch fire to any of the people skipping over it - including myself at one point!! Just wanna say huge thanks to mum and dad also who really helped when I got ill. The nurse in my hospital genuinely asked how old I was at one point an I told her and asked why and she goes 'cos you always like mum, dad
Start of the party!
I think this is all the girls I'm with but the pic on my screen is pretty tiny so I'm not sure. There is seven is us :) and crying' that made me laugh so much! I think I was just feeling very very unwell 😞 Anyway!! We travelled for two days to get up here in Chang Mai, north of Thailand. In a ferry, a very long night train (which I slept the whole way practically because I was still recovering from being ill so just conked out!) then when we arrive in Bangkok to get our flight up north we had to wait for about 6-7 hours. I was shattered when we arrived haha! But the journey was quite funny with the girls. Oh, I forgot to mention I'm up here with a bunch of school friends 😊 they're all on an elephant trek today but I didn't go because I've done it before and wanted to save some money! I'm going to ride a bike around three if the temples here in the old town now though after some lunch and then tomorrow we are going to a tiger sanctuary! Very excited for that!Miss you all so much!
