Got up and had some cereal before heading out to lie on the beach for a few hours, we were going to use the pool, but it was packed with what looked like the cast of a Super Sweet 16 UK party so we headed up a little away from our and chilled out. Was another glorious day but a good breeze kept us from getting too hot.

Quiet hard work all that reading so we had earned our lunch and headed up to Same Same and got pizza which was delicious and used their free wifi before heading back for the afternoon session in the sun, tough life! While on the beach playing our spot the accents game there were 4 girls in front of us from Ireland, got chatting to them and arranged to meet up with them later on for a drink. We had a couple in Same Same before we hit the beach to sample the full moon warm up madness. Soon as we walked down off the street we were thronged by about 1000 people going mental to house music and jumping around on podiums, pretty crazy, and this is 2 nights before the main party. Had a great night, going nuts all over the place. The 4 doctors are good craic so hung around with them all night drinking buckets of Thai Whiskey and decorating ourselves with all the free stuff the millions of drinks stalls that line the beach with their assortments of buckets of booze try and give you as an incentive to give them all your business. Met Luke aswell and worked our way through a few of the bars on the beach, but for some reason they stopped all the music at 2am, think it was a Buddhist holiday or something. The beach was still packed though and the skipping ropes of fire came out, stayed well away from them, the stupidest thing I have ever seen anyone attempt to do. Good introduction to Haad Rin madness though
