Hello it’s been a while since my last blog but I have been buisy chilling out on the world most beautiful beaches. I have also done a lot of activities and done a lot of traveling which now currently place’s me in Kota Bahru Malaysia.
I will start from where I left you all last time which was the border run to Burma which was a very long night and day. The boat we caught to go to the mainland was something similar to a refugee boat; well that’s how I felt! Just mattresses on the floor and loads of people just lead down where they could find a space. After load’s of travelling we spent all of ten minuets in Burma to then go back to Thailand for an extra 15 day’s, the 10 minuets spent in Burma where very crazy as soon as I got of the boat little children where trying to sell me ketamin and Viagra. Also some guy showing me he had two thumbs on one hand claiming he was lucky trying to give me Burmese money as a souvenir welcomed me I was so tied I thought it was a dream or something I found

refugee boat it all rather amusing just the surrealness of the place.
After 24 hours of traveling we met my dad who was on Ko Samui which was really nice to see my dad after 6 month’s and be treated to food that a backpacker can not afford things like T-bone steak which was glorious. I would of liked to of stayed their longer but only getting a 15 day visa we had to move on towards the other 4 islands we wanted to see.
The next destination was Pha Nga we only stayed their one night we wanted to go here because their was a good tour where we got to see some great sites like, limestone cliffs, mangrove Forrest, Muslim village on stilts in the middle of the sea, James bond island where they filmed man with the golden gun, and some cool cave’s. The tour was really good some great sites, stopped at a really nice beach for lunch and the Muslim village on stilts was really interesting.
After the tour we headed straight to Krabi where we stayed for the night so we could catch the ferry to ko Phi Phi in the morning. A lot of people
don’t like the idea of ko Phi Phi anymore because of how busy it is this time of year, yes it is busy but it’s so beautiful it’s defiantly worth going their in my opinion. I went on a tour around the islands of ko Phi Phi, first we went to ko Phi phi leh where we done some snorkeling in crystal clear water and went into some coves which has mind blowing vies I have never seen water so clear in all my life it was life you where just looking through glass when looking into it.
Then we went to auo maya beach on KO Phi Phi Leh which is where (The Beach) was filmed we had lunch their and took in the amazing views and went snorkeling. Next we went to Monkey beach where of course their where wild monkey’s who people where feeding, I decided to keep my food to myself as it looked like the monkeys had plenty seeing the size of them. Next was bamboo island which was a very small island you could walk around in about 10 minuets, we done some snorkeling and their was great coral just of the beach and
really colorful fish and some sort of sea snake thing that came out of his hole and opened his mouth out to me which was really cool. The weather was great for the two day’s we where on phi phi which made it all the better me and mika are so tanned now people look confused when we say we are from England because we are so dark. I met some nice Auzzie girls who we went out to dinner with and had a few beers’ which was a good and the following night we went out again and had a great night, really good live music great vibe and I met this crazy American girl who brought me and mika two beers just because we let here and her friends sit next to us, she also gave me this really good mosquito repellent and she let me keep it.
Next Island of paradise was ko lanta which was less busy and more chilled out we got a motorbike and toured the island we went two a few beaches and had lunch in the village where a lady showed me how to eat grab. We spent 3 nights here and
it was a really nice relaxing place to be the people who owned the beach huts we were staying in where really nice people and very helpful. On our last night we decided to go out for a couple of beers and on are way home we stopped for one more where their was a bit of a party it was some guy’s birthday they invited us over and we ended up not leaving until the middle of the night. So funny it was just a random party on the beach and they gave us pizza, cake, vodka buckets, and beers we didn’t have to pay for a thing, fantastic random party. The next morning we had to catch a boat to ko lipe which was hard to wake up but we managed.
After 5 hours on a boat we arrived on the smallest island which was ko lipe, ko lipe was my favorite island in terms of just pure natural beautiful surroundings and chilling out. You could rent snorkeling gear and just go in straight of the beach. The island is inhabited by 700 sea gypsies who where the nicest gypsies I have ever met, on the first night
we stayed in a tent because their where no rooms available but we liked the idea of camping out on the beach anyway. Because we stayed on sunset beach we had to walk through the jungle to get from town to or tent which was very difficult the first time we tried as it was very dark, luckily we ended up at a sea gypsie village where they where playing music and dancing and one of them guided us back to our tent. My favorite beach was this beach by karma bar where you could go snorkeling straight of the beach and from above the beach looked picture postcard perfect. When I saw picture’s of ko lipe before I came here I thought they might of used photo shop or something but the place is just that nice and I was sad to leave the island.
Overall Thailand is still a great place to backpack I love Thailand so much I like to think I will come back here one day, I really love the food, people, places. Just everything about Thailand I loved.
I now have two weeks in Malaysia where we a heading to the jungle for some
trekking then maybe go to some other place’s depending on time.
