Karon Beach
Walking down Karon BeachWe woke up today and both felt quite ill. We wondered what had made us feel sick and realised we drank mocktails with ice in them, it must have been the ice. We planned to stay four nights here but today decided that we would leave tomorrow and catch a plane to Koh Samui. We spent most of the morning and early afternoon looking at hotels to stay in when we got to Koh Samui. We booked our flights and told reception we were leaving tomorrow then eventually settled on a resort called Amari. We finished up on the internet and went down to the beach to have a look around. It was a nice beach, better than the one in Patong Beach and there wasn’t nearly as many touts around. We walked around the markets for a while then headed back to the resort for a swim.
For the rest of the afternoon we again hung around the pool relaxing and enjoying the hot weather. Tonight we were eating somewhere other than the resort restaurant. We walked down to the main road again and went to a place which sold different pizzas. It was fantastic, easily the best pizza
Karon Beach
Exploring around Karon Beach we’d had so far on our trip. We finished it off with some movenpick ice-cream then made our way back to the resort and off to bed.
