We spent 4-5 days here and totally loved it.....it is laid back and the beaches are beautiful....while we were here we did a jungle safari. It was a great day. We saw some beaches, temples, mountains, magic buddha garden, an elephant ride and nomzy held a baby leopard. We were allowed to ride on the roof of the jeep so chris and i and some pommy dudes took turns siiting on it. We were flying through the jungle at some parts and dodging trees. When we were at the top of the mountain it got really slippery and the jeep nearly rolled when it went into a ditch. We found out later after lunch when the thai guys kept looking up the road that one of the jeeps did roll and a girl snapped her leg. Normally there would be heaps of safety and no-one would have been allowed back on the top, but nope, the thais have no safety regulations and people were back up on top. We definitely didn't go back up. We rode an elephant which was heaps of fun and nomzy held a baby leopard and fed it a bottle. She wanted to squeeze it!

He was the most cutest thing ever. He had the biggest blue eyes and even held his own bottle....i just wanted to sneak him in my backpack ate many dinners on the beachfront - right on the sand. Its so nice to be able to eat dinner and sit with your feet in the sand. We also did a fair bit of shopping at Koh Samui.
