Wow the last 24hours sure has been interesting...
Yesterday morning as we were boarding a ferry from Ko Samui to get to Bangkok, Kris's small backpack was stolen! It would have been great if this had of been his big backpack, however the small one contained pretty much every valuable item we own. (hence why we have no photos on this blog)
All up it was about $5000nz worth of stuff...good times!
We were left with about $50nz and have spent the last day trying to sort out money, insurance and passports. Thank god we have just been able to access some money, and have got some go-foward with the insurance company.
Passports will take 12 days to get here, we only have a visa for another 5 days! The NZ embassy should be able to sort something out though, we hope. If you have any ideas of where to go/what to do in Thailand for the next 2 weeks please let us know!
So were still chugging away with no camera, ipod, jess's phone, DVD player, money, glasses,...pretty much anything valuable!
We will let you know how we get on...
