Hi
Well we got to Koh Samui for the first night and found a really lovely bungalow in Boh Phut called Free House Bungalow. We had shared a taxi with some Russian boys and so managed to get the bungalows at a really good rate!!
The next day we got the ferry to Koh Phangan. The sea was so rough that the boat was rocking from side to side and you could see the see from the opposite window! Needless to say felt very sick afterwards!! We called a resort called Mac Bay on the ferry and luckily they had rooms! It was on Ban Tai which is about a 10 minutes taxi ride out of the main part but it was really lovely! Right on the beach with a good priced restaurant and really friendly staff!
The first night, the 14th we went into the town with Leyla and co and had a really good night! But we found the beach to be really hectic! Lots of the clubs spill out onto the beach and lots of them play trance music! As Koh Phangan is seen as the party island, a lot of people go there to
enjoy themselves. So inevitably everyone is really drunk and a bit reckless, we saw one couple having sex on a plastic garden chair! I didn't really like the beach much; people piss in the sea etc and it all seems a bit disrespectful , maybe I'm getting too old for all this fun lark!!
The next we didn't do anything and watched some DVDs at the hotel at night! On the 16th we went into town and i bought some new bikins and then in the evening we went tot he full moon beach party! Or rather were meant to be going but the day before a girl had drowned in the sea in the afternoon and so the beach was all roped off! The police were being very strict and so any bars that were on the beach were not allowed to play music! That meant that Magu and Heggy couldn't Dj and it all turned into a bit of a disaster! WE had met two really nice Australian girls at the resort who's come out with us and the night had started off really well! WE left that bar but i felt really rough and so went

Its a bit ricketyhome, shortly followed by Hannah and the other two! I think we all felt quite bad though as we'd been telling the Australian girls how good the bar was and it was rubbish!!
The next day the sun shined and so we sunbathed and the day after was the same!
Yesterday, teh 19th, we got the feryy back over to Samui which is where I'm writing this from now! Its really expensive here compared to the rest of Thailand but the nightlife seems quite good! We eventually managed to find a reallu reasonable room! It has a large tv, a fridge and is meant to have hot water but ours doesn't work so we have to change rooms! Last night we met up with Leyla and Magu and went to watch a Drag show! IT was reallu good and the acts were really entertaining! We ended up at a pool party with a free BBQ and spoke to loads of nice people and some weirdos! Was quite pleased as we'd finally managed to have a decent night out!

Showing how not to do it! have booked for Christmas is really expensive so i think we're going to cancel it and stay where we are but we need to see what its like first! There's also meant to be some really nice waterfalls and me and Hannah are going to go diving before Christmas as well!

hey bird!! not long now til i meet you!!! please text me as soon as you get to sydney and we can arrange a meeting place. we are going to a restaurant called the Rock Inn on NYE and then to watch the fireworks in Sydney harbour - can't blooming wait! hopefully we can meet you on your birthday and have a big fat burger and cocktail!! lots of love zoe xxxxxxxx
