Hello All, I'm home at last, safe and sound I'm pleased to say!!! The Sunday in LA we didn’t manage to go to Venice Beach, but instead went to a market across the street and enjoyed a good rummage! In the evening the hostel put on a free BBQ, and true to form us Brits were first in the queue, and created a ripple effect of panic throughout the hostel before the first burger had even made it onto the grill! Was worth elbowing an Irish guy and American woman though, as those first burgers were tremendous, I’m sure they weren’t as nice later! That evening we went out to a club called the Dragonfly. Hello All WowI absolutley love AMerica!! I', so shocked, I thought I would hate it but its amazing, I'm having a wicked time!! When did I last write, Sunday I think oh yes, Rotorua, god that seems like a lifetime away all ready! Anyway, SUnday night went to bed early, was sulking a bit I think, as the hostel didn't have a tv and was really tired! Monday, I went to Wai-O-Tapu, the Therma Wonderland! That was really cool. I got a shuttle bus that first takes you to the boiling mud pools, which are really strange, and then to the Lady Knox Geisher, which is huge! Hello All I hope you're all well and good. I write this blog with a heavy heart (not wanting to be too melodramatic). Firstly, I've only four days left in New Zealand and 11 days (not counting this one) left of my travels; I've just done my last EVER load of washing on this trip, and more importantly, my step brother has had an accident and is in hospital with very serious head injuries, so I apologise if my mood isn't as cheerful as usual. This last week has been quite hard. I can't remember if I wrote on the Saturday or Sunday but Sunday I don't think we did anything, although I'm not sure. Ok, I'm not actually in Wellington yet (Tuesday my good people, not long now!), but I couldn't bear to put Blenheim again as the location so I've cheated and jumped forward a couple of days instead!!! So, how has this week been? Well, Saturday, me and Tanja went out in Nelson, not great, not truly awful! We ate a Maccy D's and went home! The nightlife here is really not all that!! Sunday, we drove back to Blenheim, and the most exciting thing about that was that I almost wet myself in the van! I swear, I've never needed a wee so badly in my WHOLE life!! Woo hoo!!! As you may be able to tell from the title of this blog, I'VE GOT A NEW PIERCING!!! I'm so excited I love it! I've had my tragus done, which is the bit of gristle that's on the middle of your ear! It didn't hurt too much, but it sounded disgusting as the needle went through, it kind of crunched!! It hurts a little bit now and I've got a really attractive crust of blood around it, but I love it sooooo much! I've been wanting it done for years, but a piercer told me that my tragus was too small! The woman who did it said that lots of people say that, as some people don't like doing this piercing, so I'm proper chuffed! I can't really afford, but never mind! I'm also ... read more

Howdy Well this week has gone ok, I guess! I finally got the hang of the vineyard work and now its ended, typical! I'm now making vineguards, which basically consists if folding peices of corrugated plastic into a triangle shape! You have to push flaps through little holes, and on Friday I made 800. Aren't I just the luckiest little bunny in the warren!! It really really sucks, and my thumbs were so sore I felt like I had trapped them in a door. Add to that the split skin around my thumbs and the sore skin on almost every finger, and my hands are a mess! However, relief is around the corner as this is my last week, yey!!! Oh my good lord! I hate my job, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it!! If anyone can think of a job that they've had which was worse, I'd really love to hear about it!! It might make doing my job easier if I can think about someone elses misery!!!! It has to be quite easily the worst job that I've ever had, and I've done some shit ones before, like photocopying and filing in a room on my own for eight hours a day, but this is definitely worse! I can't believe that I have to go back there again on Monday! I really don't want to. But there's not much work anywhere else so its either that or nothing!
