Phuket to Koh Phi Phi!!!!

Our last night in Bangkok was pretty amazing! We decided to live it up a little and pretend that we were 5* travellers and go to Vertigo Bar at a 5* hotel. The bar was amazing, it is on the 59th floor of the building and you can look out over the whole of Bangkok while you drink a cocktail! Immense!!!! The only draw back was that they forced Sean to wear these three quaerter length black trousers as he was wearing shorts! I found this highly hilarious however Sean was mortified by the whole experience and will forever be scarred for life!!!! Bad Vertigo!!!!!!!!!

Now the 12 hour coach ride to Phuket was tough, i got sat next to this Thai women who persisted to fidget and move around during the entire journey. She unfortunatly had no concerpt of personal space whatsover and practically slept in my lap! As flattered as i was by this i like my space and felt slightly violated by the whole experience. On top of this i stupidly sat in the only seat which had a leak, so when the monsoon rain started i was covered in water when i woke up! Happy happy joy joy!!!! just hope i dont get cholera from the episode!!!

When we arrived in Phuket i was pleasantly suprised as the hostel was quite nice (voted best in Thail;and apparently!) and they made the nicest Raspberry smoothie iv ever tasted! However, Phuket is a DEN OF SIN!!!!!!! It is probably the filthiest place i have ever been to! In every bar girls proceeded to dance and practically have sex with themselves and every man at the bar! I am no prude but my mouth was literally hanging open (and i had had a number of cocktails by then!!!). I was dragged on to stage at one point (everyone knows how i hate to make a spectacle of myslef!!lol!!!) and the girls also proceeded to man handle me (i felt abused and violated!!!haha!!!).

We decided that after 2 nights we would move on to Koh Phi Phi as other back packers told us that it is the best island and so much better than Phuket!! We arrived by boat and i have literally never seen such beauty in my whole life! It is actually stunning! Crystal clear blue seas, white sandy beaches and green lush mountains above the sea! AMAZING!!!! The village itself kind of reminded me of the Lanes in Brighton, its all little winding streets, no cars just locals riding bikes! It has a laid back vibe that i love and is full of bars selling ice smoothies and cocktails. We had a wander to the beach at night and there are massive parties happening all night with day glow body paint, laser shows and hard core backpackers!lol! Apparently the music shuts down at 1am every day to respect the locals which sucks a little bit but apparently every one continues the party anyway until the early hours! We are going out tonight properly and i will be trying my first bucket (basically a bucket with a can of red bull, sprite and bottle of vodka....lethal!!!). I will write soon with an update on how it goes!!!wish me luck!!!lol!xxxxx
