Koh Phi Phi is gradually recovering from the Tsunami, local traders work out of tempory shelters and it is business as normal at the local bars and restaurants.

There still appears to be a great deal of frustration at lack of help from the government in supporting rebuilding projects. However tourists will find a relaxed and unique vibe that is miles better than the crazy holiday resorts in Phuket.

Koh Phi Phi is a magical, beautiful island, and we enjoyed diving around neighbouring island Phi Phi Lay where the film "the Beach" was filmed. I can't wait to visit again!
