Koh Tao is about one thing only: Diving! We arrived in the morning after an overnight bus and boat trip and headed to the beach to chill out. Just snorkelling off the beach revealed a load of fish on the sand covered coral. I couldn't wait to get started.

The diving was good and a new world of triggerfish, blue spotted rays, groupers, and sargent Major fish was revealed to us. After three days of diving we decided to stay on and do our advance diving badge to give us a bit more confidence.

Our trekking buddies Ross and Tiff had arrived a day before us and gave us some company to discuss the days adventures with. Poor Ross was gutted one night when his beloved Liverpool where beaten by a poor Red Devils in the last minute of the game. ( Rio , Rio!) We aslo had great fun keeping an eye out for local primates. "Who's on monkey watch?"
