After a fantastic chinese breakfast by my quality hotel staff I shot down to the harbour for my trip to James Bond Island. We headed out through the mangroves and mudflats through fairly tight rivers, through caves etc on the longtail.Saw all manner of crazy animals I have no idea what they where on the mudflats.First we stopped of at a couple of Islands which where nothing special really if youve done island tours before but one had a pretty cool cave you went unde and came out into this opening filled with monkeys, and I can NEVER get enough Of monkeys as most of you know. From there we went for Lunch and a little secluded beach all to ourselves thank god.The sea was beautiful its like bath temperature right now.SO we relaxed a little there then offski to James Bond Island.Im sure there was loadsa bond fans there but ive never even seen "the man with the golden gun" which was filmed here but At least I can say to Robbie ive been there and he hasnt 😉
The island is really nice with the famous rock plunging from the water.I eventually got a good pic took after asking half of europe to
Phang Nga Bay.....Phang Nga Bay.....Phang Nga Bay.....

Not a bad stop for lunch.......
take a decent one.Only thing was as you come around the beach your hit with this row of tourist shops.I felt sick.It feels sometime you have this amazing county with such beautiful people but this same row of tourist shops run right through it which they eat up.Im started to get really elitist towards the stereotypical tourist you may notice in these pages!! But you cant blame the thais for it.They can make more money of these people then they could with out it.But all in all I was happy with seeing the island. From there we went to a Muslim Fishing Village "NOt bad muslim like Bin Laden" our captain said. As you get there there all these houses on stils out of the water adn guess what hits you first?? That same row of damn shops!! I tried to get to the back to see how they REALLY lived but kept getting ushered back.I didn get a small look though. As with most in this country and especially as youd expect out here ,living really simply.I bumped into a ladyboy with a gibbon....not something you can say back home....and then a really feminine little boy started blowing kisses at me..........where my boat again??
