Songkran is my favorite Thai holiday
When my wife and I lived in Chiang Mai in 1974-75 we especially enjoyed the Songkran festival. I hope you were able to go to the Ping River to see the lotus floats that produced a river of fire. Also, papaya is pretty good if you squirt some fresh lime juice on it. Sorry about the mangoes and sticky rice being out of season, although some places do a pretty good job of keeping mangoes refridgerated so that there is still some available well beyond the normal end of the season. Mangoes and sticky rice is my favorite dessert.

Thank you for your comment! I finally did find some mango and sticky rice at the Sunday Walking Street and it was AMAZING. I will definitely try the lime juice on the papaya. I think it is a bit bland so that shoud help. Thanks again for reading me :)
