Well seen as you all seem to think using kelly's blog was just me being a lazy arse (which i guess is kinda true!!) im back to my own unique site. So i guess i better give you all a quick update.
First stop was Hong Kong, amazing city with amazng sky-line views - unfortunatlety we didnt get to see any of them because of the continuous dense fog!! Still had an amazing time though, did th sight seeing bit and went and saw a giant buddha, learnt to haggle at the markets (despite getting a bit confused with the currency and arguing over 20p for a good 10mins) and ofcourse visited a few bars - saw a ccrazy local band, top music.
From Hong Kong we flew to Bangkok - but only for a couple of nights so we decided to leave the sight seeing until we get back in a month, for now just checked out the bars on Khao San road and had tried a thai massage - basically paid to get beaten up by a small thai girl!
Now im in Chang Mai (north thailand) just finished 3 day treck in the jungle -
it was amazing. Slept for 2nights on a bamboo floor, barley any showering (so after climing up and down mountains in the midday-sun we all totally stunk!) but the food was amazing - home cooked thai curries mmmmmmm and highlight of the trip has got to be elephant riding - me danielle and kelly all on top of the daddy of the herd - me at the front on his neck riding through the jungle - was so cool! After all that hard work we needed a rest so have just been chilling by the pool trying to get a tan and sampling the local drink samsong - tastes kinda like JD so im sorted!
Off to laos tomorrow then cambodia or veitnam - still cant decide which, everything is so laid back here it takes forever to do/decide on anything which is just perfect for me.
