Hey guys,
We just got down the mountain from a trek up to the tribal villages. It was rather over-rated and not really authentic, cause the village that we stayed in had tv. We ended up hiking up 1300 m in 3.5 hours, so we had much-deserved Thai massages upon our descent. We did get to ride elephants, which was super cool. Ours was totally lazy and just wanted to eat bamboo. When we walked it was so slow motion that we just sat back and enjoyed the ride. We also got to raft down a river on these bamboo rafts tied together with bike innertubes. It was a good time and Denny didn't get any nasty rashed when he fell in.

So we're taking the night train back down to Bangkok and then heading to Siem Reap, CAmbodia tomorrow morning. I'm thinking that we are going to have quite a culture shock there, so I booked us into a $30 5 star hotel to cope 😊

Anyways, I hope that everyone is well.
