Hiya all. Nice to hear from you as we love to get comments!!!
We had our last day in Aythaya yesterday and we briefly had a look at three more temples as well as a pretty park (see photos).
Today we went to Lop Buri and got a nice ensuite room in a hotel for 2 pounds in total!! Bargain!
We have already looked at all the sites and so we are off again tommrow to the next place.
We are both still in shock from the savage monkey attack at one of the temples. We were walking to it just to get a good photo from behind the wall as didnt want to pay to go in, and then we spotted one monkey and we thought how sweet. We were very wrong! As we walked closer - a monkey came running towards me and was tugging at my carrier bag with a newly bought ice cold 2 litre pepsi bottle. I held on to it for ages but then i gave in because i thought it was going to bite/kill me. However it couldnt open the pepsi and so it took the water which was also in the bag. Bobby bravely ran back for the pepsi although more monkeys were around the pepsi and a mothr with a baby monkey tried to take the pepsi off of bobby but we won the battle as we ran away. It was like a scene from 'Birds' but with monkeys. Monkies were just all over the streets!!

Goodluck with the rest of your exams Jimmies and we hope Scott is having a well deserved break after Univeristy.
We will try and have a go at that dragon fruit at some point as we love kiwi.

We are not missing tv but we are still very gutted about the winner of the appretice ( as ruth should have won) and the final two contestants of american idol.

Monkey girls
Sawasdee kaa (Hello to those who don't speak Thai) What a close call with the monkeys. We have seen them take the top off coke drink tins with their teeth! We saw the motorcyle taxis when we were in Bangkok - but weren't brave enough to try them. You seem to be getting lots of bargins. (Is your currency conversion table right?? Only joking!) By the way the inside of Dragon fruit is white with black spots! We had so much fruit when we were out there. How are you coping with the heat? Love Ying and Yang xx

Empty Wastelands
The monkey lovers are in New york this week so expect a full defence of these harmless creatures next week! Still no people in the pictures, has there been a killer plague with only monkeys and Bobbys surviving? No wonder everywhere is so cheap

Whatcha you Bobbies
Most impressed with your adventures - you lucky little Bobbies! Billie and me have been cruising down theThames today Greenwich /Tower of London. So can't compete with the 2 Bobbies' adventures except there was a beautiful Armenian sailing boat in St Katherines Dock with Armenian dancing and music (sounds rather Turkish to me). There was also a bunch of Armenians on board who all looked like pirates. Culture day tomorrow - Tate Modern so will have to put my serious face on - I wonder where it is! Back to Devon on Tuesday so that will be the end of culture.Much love and take care.
