I didn't do this. The guy had a bear costume to wear for promotion purposes. Poor guy. It was hot.

I created the applesauce recipe when I still lived in MN. I created the soup in Shenzhen. I still make them both here in Bangkok. Good winter food always has a place in my home!

One if the things that always intrigued me was how thai ppl close plastic bags with liquid inside. (And how to open them carefully) The woman at my pad thai stand showed me a month ago and today I did it myself at the omelet stand. I'm not sure who was more impressed and excited, me or the women who work there.

Chocolate covered cherries are my favorite Xmas treat. I couldn't find them in China, so getting them from a student was especially exciting. I Whoop-ed so loud I scared myself.

Small changes in pronunciation
We were sitting having drinks with some Vietnamese university students in HCMC and one of them asked Neil if he liked penis...took us both a while to realise he meant peanuts; it still makes us laugh today thinking about it! We especially liked the po-po comment from your student :)
