Prologue I lived in Bangkok in 1994 and 1995 in the days before the metro and skytrain and before Suvarnabhumi Airport. The red labels below each Buddha show the days of the week. One Buddha for each day of the week, except for Wednesday which has two Buddhas. Wonder what is so special about Wednesday?

Street Life

This was actually the monk's bowl village in Banglamphu but I could not get a good shot. I learned later that this is a dying art. In hindsight we should have purchased a bowl.
