Bit of a shock

Had a busy and very hot day yesterday, so feeling a little tired today, spent the morning catching up with a few things I needed to get sorted for the trip, doing a little shopping and then decided to try and get some air as the traffic is awful in Bangkok. There is a park over the main road from where I am staying so thought this might be a good idea as trees produce oxygen and cars destroy it. I thought I'll take my book and have a read in tranquil surroundings by the lake, I was about to sit down and noticed a tail in the grass, oh boy am I glad I didn't sit down there was a huge lizard sitting under the bench where I was going to sit. Decided to carry on walking after taking a it's pics. A little further round I saw some more, one of them had caught a fish and was tucking in when I saw him. Talk about opposites the road was about twenty meters away with loads of traffic and the lizard eating his fish so close. crazy!!!!
