Hi Peeps,
We have landed in the land of smiles!! Safe and sound! Koh San Road is alot busier than before as we remembered alot of westerners.......leaving here tmrw to go to the islands...snorkelling and hopefully to do a dive course in Ko Tao...

We are very sad to leave India but we expect we will be back there as it has a magnetic feel! And all good things must come to an end.We loved our time there and where made welcomed wherever we went.So thailand///As soon as we stepped of the plane the heat hit us we forgot about the humidity but we are coping well with it.
Today we went to jim thompsons house for a look at a real old thai teak house full of rare and very old pieces he had collected from around s.e.a. to get there we took a taxi boat and a sky train much more civilised than them tuk tuks.
Now we are off to chinatown for some you guessed it chinese street food yum yum.
We might also take in a bit of kickboxing (mui thai) as this is bangkok at its best.
As we said we are off to book the overnight bus and boat to the islands as we need a bit of beach life......take care peeps we will post again soon with more pics.
love charlieandjim..........................

Smiling faces
Ah! So that is where all the smiling faces have gone. We do not see many in Bury St Edmunds. Expect that by now you are relaxing on a beach enjoying the lovely sunshine -and the food by the sound of it. Look forward to the next blog- Take Care Love Pamela and Richard x
