We made it to Thailand!

Hi,

Just a very quick note to let you all know we have made it to Bangkok fine and dandy 😊
We had a day looking round Singapore and managed to fit in a wander round chinatown and the Buddah Relic Tooth Temple/museum as well as a trip on the Singapore flyer (like the london eye only bigger) a walk round the botanic gardens and then a night safari! Singapore seems like a really nice city, lots of building going on there but there are alot of nice new buildings and despite the heat it seems really light and airy in most places right in the centre.

Bangkok is even hotter than Singapore - temperatures of around 38! We meet our group later - looks like there might only be three of us but we head up north for a trekking trip to Chang Mai for around 8 days all together (3 days walking - only 4 hours a day though). We havent been here very long but the hotel we are staying in (10 pounds a night each - twin shared ensuite...) is very nice and airconditioned, a couple of restaurants downstairs and thai massages etc about the place. Just a few streets away from some toursity markets and loads of street food - we havent been brave enough to try it yet though!

Ok thats about all we have time for here, but will update definately when we get back here from our trip upto Chang Mai 😊
